been touch by you

Violin exam!! Is finally done!
@ PJ Hilton Hotel
am @ 10th floor West Wing
Should have take my piano exam too..
The examiner was EXTREMELY~ nice!
No kidding man. After all this year Susan Brown, the 1st ever female examiner I met to be so kind and sweet. Usually female/lady examiner are more strict. Like freakin! But this time, I read her testimonial. She attended several famous music schools. Learning from young age till she teaches/lectures/and also being a examiner. Her major intrusment is the piano next in line is the violin.
Imagine that! She so kind~ oh.. I felt in love with her~

I started off with the scales 1st, because students are advised to start with scales to warm up your fingers and not to get too little nervous of the atmosphere.
3 scales she gave me and I got wrong one. Which is the C sharp minor. I played C major. Luckily she stop me and gave me another chance.
For Arpeggios I was drooping into the well for that. Isn't really good. I remember the notes by fingers and not alhabetics notes. That. Is. Bad.
Dominant Sevenths start on a different key end on a different key. Always got me confuse. But she asked for the simplest one. So I got over it lightly.
Finally Diminished Sevenths the weird sounding one. Fingering 2-4-0-1-3 simplest one to memorize. Each key is the same fingering. I'm proud that I gone over the scales nicely.
Last time I use to hate scales and not practise them. But now.. I change the point of view. x]

3 Pieces.
1st piece : Bagatelle by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart- Detached, alot of crash notes and also 2 parts to play 3 different notes together. It's not hard but when you need to play it loud + correct notes + the notes isn't just next to each other. It's separated far a part. When you gotta keep up the speed with the piano and playing it loud and hard and also make sure it's the correct key.
Is ain't easy.

2nd piece : Sicilience by Maria-Theresia Paradis - This is a slow and sad song. It's easy to play it. x] I hope I scored high marks for this.

3rd piece : Buskin:No. 2 from Six Country Dances by Richard Rodney Bennett - Ooooo this one...... hard in catching the right timing with the piano accompaniment. PLUS I don't know where my mind is when it comes to the last ending of the song. I miss the timing and was stunt for 5seconds. sigh~ But overall this piece was fine. I hope the examiner don't put heavy hands on it x[

Aural
1st Sing the notes after the examiner played twice. Before she start, she asked and tested me whether I want the lower voice sounding or the upper one. She played a few notes to let me try. After that she compose the piece into lower sounding for me.
2nd Sing the notes given one a paper. I am bad in sight singing. Really bad. I'll down a note or high a note when it's descending. Really really bad. But she gave a several chances. At 1st she gave me the paper, tell me that I can just sing and she won't be listening till I'm prepared. She corrected me when I'm in the wrong note. Man! How can someone be so kind! gosh~ I really opened my eyes and ears today!
3rd Musical Features. The examiner will play one short piece and then you'll answer the questions. She asked the period of the piece and whether is major or minor piece. So I answered Romantic period & major piece. WTH it's so easy! I wanna hug her and kiss her and squash her and ... ah hem... sorry.
GOD~ she is so nice~ T__T if I fail...... I'm gonna go back to that 10th floor and jump down!
4th clap the rhythm. From the same short piece, examiner will play a short phrase and you'll gotta clap. After that answer whether it's 2 time, 3 times or 4time.

''And it's done! You have just finish your exam! Isn't it wonderful? =)''
Isn't she nice? I wanna stay in the room invisibly... xD My god... green is her theme. xD
I went in smiling like an insane idiot. Coming out laughing like an arse hole.
The door guy. As in the guy that take you into the room and register your name. He said to me when we are standing outside the door waiting to get in. He said ''you are the only student I see so far can still smile while standing in front of this door.''
LoL!!! Hahaha! Irene answered him '' she is smiling because she is nervous''
xD I blast into laughter after hearing what she say.
When I'm out of the room.. I was hooping and skipping into the waiting room with a huge smile on my face. I guess others parents and students there must have thought that I'm crazy~
Haha! Okay I think I wrote too much. And I don't think most of you people will understand the music words up there.. Lol.. But I don't think so! I still have loads to say! I shall continue!

You know.. When it comes to an exam like these in my life.. I'll normally close my self up and practice none stop for a few days. No outings, no shopping and stuffs. It will adjust my mood for the exam. Hmmm.. now my brother is back.. He will fight for computer. So. okay I'll stop here.

The exam results will be out only after 3 months.. Or even longer.
